Throughout my artistic journey, I’ve often reflected on why the profound beauty of Persian art—especially its music—remains unfamiliar to so many around the world.
My compositions are deeply rooted in this heritage; sometimes subtly colored by Persian modes and ornamentations, and at other times entirely woven from its rich musical fabric. Audiences frequently respond to the distinct tone of my work—an echo of centuries-old traditions reimagined through a contemporary lens. This resonance led to invitations to share my knowledge through workshops on Persian music—its modal system, rhythmic intricacies, and expressive potential within Western compositional contexts. I approach these sessions with the goal of making the tradition accessible, demystifying its structures so that even those with no prior exposure can feel empowered to explore and incorporate it into their own musical voices.
